Software Programmer
As a key member of the ESDI metrology team, this individual will design, develop, test and support highly technical software solutions for interferometry and scatterometry applications. Strong problem solving skills are essential for algorithmic work. This individual must be flexible enough to work at many software levels from algorithms to GUI to hardware control. National and international travel (approximately 10%) is required in order to support on-site installations and to gather information during on-site customer visits. You must be able to prepare and maintain project design documents and other related documentation.
Qualifications:
A BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Math, Optics, or a related discipline and 9 years of related industry experience or an MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Math, Optics, or a related discipline and 2 years of related industry experience is required.
Strong C/C++ experience is required as is experience with the full software development cycle. Experience with Visual C++, Visual Basic, and .NET Framework is preferred but not required.
Experience with basic signal processing algorithms, vision software, algorithm development and a background in metrology is a plus.
